Joe's career trajectory includes a noteworthy 15-year stint as a Sports Reporter, affording him the privilege of bearing witness to some of New York's most iconic sporting events, such as the World Series, Stanley Cup Finals, and US Open Finals. His enduring connections within the industry led him to write columns about the Mets and MLB for NY Sports Day, an outlet he founded in 2004 and successfully sold in 2020. Further cementing his credentials, Joe served as the managing editor of NY Sportscene Magazine and held the role of assistant editor at Mets Inside Pitch Magazine.
In addition to his sports reporting career, Joe ran a web development business for 12 years and served as a Financial Consultant for 15 years. This diverse professional background uniquely positioned him to transition into the real estate industry. For the past eight years, Joe has functioned as a proficient loan and title closer, and he currently serves as an agent with Laffey Real Estate. In his real estate capacity, Joe is dedicated to assisting both sellers and buyers. He works diligently with sellers to prepare their properties for listing, striving to secure the most favorable market prices. For his buying clients, Joe adeptly identifies properties of interest and skillfully negotiates with listing agents to procure the most competitive offers.

Outside his professional commitments, Joe is deeply immersed in the Irish community. As a longstanding member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, he played a pivotal role in overseeing the rapid growth of the Mineola Division, both at the national and state levels. Joe's contributions extend to chairing conventions and serving as the Chairman of the Long Island Irish Fest, a highly anticipated annual event held in Franklin Square. His dedication has earned him recognition as the Aide to the Grand Marshal of the 2015 NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade and the 2013 Glen Cove St. Patrick's Day Parade.
